02Why nowThe 2027 theme

AI has moved from the IT department to the board agenda.

Three things have happened at once — and together they set the timing.

  1. 01Decisions, not demosLeaders are now expected to decide on AI — budgets, risk, workforce, regulation — not just to understand it.
  2. 02The room does not exist yetThe conversation happens in London, Paris and San Francisco. Norway has the companies and the capital, but not the room.
  3. 03The window is 2027The choices boards make in the next eighteen months set their trajectory for a decade. Timing is the point.

The Next Shift — the 2027 theme, as a timeline

  1. 2019 – 2023The IT departmentPilots, proofs of concept, a few enthusiasts.
  2. 2024 – 2026The budget lineReal spend, real risk — and the first regulation, as the EU AI Act reaches Norway through the EEA.
  3. 2027The board agendaStrategy, workforce, capital. The year the decisions are made — and the year the room meets.

  • One room, one programmeNo parallel tracks. Everyone hears the same argument, sees the same build and leaves with the same references.

06Built in BergenBergen, Norway

Built in Bergen.Designed for Norway.

A national AI platform, built from Bergen. Norway's most important business conversations do not all have to happen in Oslo.

  • IndustryMaritime · energy · finance · media · technology
  • CapitalOwners, investors and institutions with national reach
  • TalentResearch, universities, founders and technical communities
  • AmbitionOne day can create attention. A recurring platform can change perception.

Not a conference hosted in Bergen — an annual arena that puts Bergen firmly on the map for AI, technology and business. Bergen is the place. Norway is the market. The standard is international.

07PartnersPartnerships in progress

Built with partners. Not sold to sponsors.

World-class events are built before they are sold out. Delivering at this level requires early commitment — from the organisers, the delivery team and a small group of partners who believe in the ambition before everyone else sees it.

  • TalentGlobal-calibre speakers secured early — before the programme is public.
  • ProductionA room and a broadcast experience worthy of the audience.
  • Audience700 carefully selected leaders, not anonymous footfall.
  • DistributionA story that starts months before 13 April and continues after it.
  • PartnersA small coalition willing to build before the outcome is obvious.
Where we arePartnerships in progress

The first partners are announced together with the programme. Positions are limited — one per category — and discussed directly. The first partners do not simply sponsor the event; they make the ambition possible.
